Picture this—the opportunity of your life shows up right on your doorstep. I’m talking about the chance to transform your life, uplevel your business, and literally start living out your wildest dreams. It’s here, and it’s yours for the taking. How do you respond?
“Instead of dismissing something so quickly, tune in to whether it’s the right fit for you. Allow that desire to guide you, because that’s where the good stuff is. Your ego is going to tell you all the reasons why you can’t, but you need to attach to all the reasons why you can. And when you do that, your life will transform.” – Emily Williams
Is your knee-jerk reaction be a full-body-and-soul YES, or do you tell it to come back later while you mull over the logistics? Do you jump in and follow your deepest desires, or do you hold back because you’ve got other plans, or you don’t feel like traveling, or because you’d have to sort out a babysitter to make it work? Maybe you even question the timing, or wonder whether you’re worthy of receiving it in the first place.
This scenario may seem too good to be true, but in reality, I see it play out every single day. The women in my community have unlimited potential to transform their lives and create a reality that’s better than their dreams—but all too often, they are actively blocking their own path. And you know what? They’re too close to even see it.
If you feel like you’re not moving forward with your dreams right now, it’s not because there are no opportunities in the wings, just waiting for you to seize them. Trust me, there are plenty. But every time they present themselves, you’ve got all your excuses ready to go.
Now, I’m not saying you have to say yes to every single thing that comes your way, but you DO owe it to yourself to tune into your desires and decide whether an opportunity is the right fit for you—rather than dismissing it right off the bat. That one small shift has made a massive difference in my own life, and I promise it will do the same for you.
In this episode of the I Heart My Life Show, I’m sharing everything I’ve learned about approaching and accepting soul-aligned opportunities, and navigating the ones that aren’t a good fit. Once you apply these simple tips and techniques in your own life, you’ll cut out the excuses, get clear on what you want and what you don’t, and see a true transformation.

- …and yes to the ones that are
Quotes:
“If you really wanted to do that thing, you would find a way to make it happen. There wouldn’t be an excuse in the world that would keep you away from it. And that’s how I view all the decisions that I make. If I want to do something, then I do it. I don’t make excuses.” – Emily Williams
“Be honest about what it is that you do and don’t want, and be deliberate with your word choice. When we do that in everyday scenarios in our life, it becomes much easier to do it in the bigger instances. Practice it.” – Emily Williams
“If you feel the desire, that means you are energetically aligned with the thing. That means you are capable of achieving the thing. That means you are capable of bringing in the money. You are capable of carving out the time.” – Emily Williams
