Recently I was listening to Gwyneth Paltrow’s new podcast — she had Oprah on as her first guest so of course I was all ears.
During the interview, Oprah was talking about writing a book and how she’s always considered whether she should, but she thinks it’s going to be “really hard”.
She went onto say that she keeps on doing “pieces” of the book but not actually writing the book.
I was so surprised to hear this. Oprah thinks writing a book is going to be HARD?!
What sort of world are we living in?! (Haha!)
That made me think about you and me, lovely.
You see, we have big dreams, but how often do we really go for it? How often are we “all in”? And how often do we forget about how capable we actually are?
I remember when I was starting my business, I had to focus on what I wanted otherwise everything would have been too hard and scary that I wouldn’t even start…

Oh my!
All of it is overwhelming — trust me, I get it.
But the thing is, if you want to stand out, impact the world and do something extraordinary, you’re going to have to learn how to take action even when you feel like something is hard…
This past week I had my own book experience I wanted to tell you about today…
I was personally invited to a meeting with someone at the publishing house Hay House to discuss a book opportunity.
This is someone I actually met a few years ago, and I told her directly that I wanted to write a book for Hay House…
#bonustip1 Remember to be bold and speak your dreams into reality.
I’m currently about to submit a proposal to them for my own book – TODAY.
(Yes, I wrote it in 72 hours.)
#bonustip2 Just say yes and go for it.
EEK!
It was as totally full-circle moment for me on Friday when I had the meeting in Notting Hill — you see, I passed the closet-sized flat I lived in in London when I first moved here in 2010 to pursue my dreams.

You may not know this, but I first arrived on a student visa because I was enrolled in a Master’s in Non-Fiction Writing program to become a published author.
It was the first time I’d passed that street in years.
Don’t you love moments like that!? It reminds me that anything is possible…
(I’ll keep you posted on what happens with the book deal — I know for me it’s not a matter of “if” but “when” but I’d love your positive vibes today!)
So no matter where you’re at (at the starting gate or with a 7-figure business), there’s always going to be something that seems hard or even impossible, but you just have to go for it, lovely.
Action will cure that lack of confidence, doubt or fear and get you SO much closer to your dreams.
Let’s do this!
