This summer has resulted in a huge amount of growth for me personally and professionally. I always want to share what I’m learning with you so you too can up your success game and achieve your goals. And most importantly live the life you’ve always dreamed of.
I also love sharing with you because I want to continually show you what’s possible in your own life and business. I hope you feel that, Lovely.
Here are a few insights about this summer (so far) in terms of my own personal growth and transformation…
>>>Something has shifted big time in the way I view our business, my role in it and who I am as a leader. Leadership has been a point of conversation in my life for as long as I can remember (since it was and still is one of my dad’s favorite topics). But I didn’t get it. I was told I was a natural born leader growing up on the sports teams I was a part of, but trust me, when it comes to our IHML team, I definitely haven’t felt like any element of that role comes naturally. But I’m learning how to be a leader and how to run a team. It’s one of the most challenging things in our business so far, but it’s also one of the most rewarding.
>>>I’m learning how to communicate effectively and speak my truth with everyone in my life. I’m also learning how to be detached from the outcome and their response. It’s not my business.
>>>I’m learning that it doesn’t have to be hard. For example, in writing the first draft of my book in Florence, I had no idea what to expect, but I told myself I’d figure it out regardless. Although I’m sure I’ll have plenty of revisions to make after the Editor takes a look, I’m just going with it. There’s no reason to stress about it. After all, why would it be hard? I’ve been talking about the topics in my book for four years (and much longer outside of my business), so it comes naturally to me.
>>>I’ve dropped a ton of worry about the future. I’m not really sure how it happened, but I truly did wake up one day and finally “got” the fact that I need all my energy to make things happen and that worry is an energy suck that is completely not useful. Of course I’m not void of fears and worries, but I really feel like a whole new person in that respect. I’m disecting what I did to get there so I can share more about this with you soon, Lovely.
>>>I’ve stopped trying to put myself into a box and realized that I’m actually the niche of ME!
>>>I’ve rediscovered a love of reading and studying and have been reminded how pivotal those things are to my own growth, the growth of IHML and the results my clients get. I have been devouring books on mindset, Universal Laws, A Course in Miracles, and money this summer.
Here are a few tools and resources that have been pivotal in my own growth the past few months:
Trust by Iyanla Vanzant
The Successful Mind Podcast by David Neagle
Your Invisible Power by Genevieve Behrend
This YouTube clip from Earl Nightingale
As you probably know, I’m sharing this because all of the above is possible for you too. Even though you’re on your own journey, whether it’s similar to mine or not, I guarantee that you have plenty to celebrate and reflect on today too.
So today I urge you to take a few minutes to create your own list. How have you grown? What’s shifted? What are you proud of?
And if you don’t feel like you’re growing or learning, why not? Start with the tools and resources I recommended above. As you may know, we also have 34 episodes of the IHML Show for you to catch up on as well. They will be game-changers for you. You can listen below here:
Wishing you an incredible rest of your summer!
