How To Speak Your Dreams Into Reality

Hi Lovely,

Recently I was filming an episode of the IHML Show and a topic I’ve never covered with you came up: speaking your dreams into reality.

I asked my guest what she was “speaking into reality” in her life and business right now, and she paused for a second and admitted that her curiosity was peaked, and that she hadn’t actually ever thought about that before and wanted to know more and about how it worked…

So I shared with her what I’d love to share with you today Lovely, to support you in continuing to raise the bar and going for (and reaching) your dreams.

Speaking your dreams into reality is something that’s so important to your dreams actually coming true and guess what?! It’s super simple to do…

Let me share a story with you today…

A few years ago, I was at my friend’s book launch party. She introduced me to her editor and I told her a little bit about I Heart My Life and declared that in the near future, I wanted to become a Hay House author.

Flash forward a few years, and that same editor reached out to a mutual contact and set up a meeting with me back in April to discuss book ideas. That resulted in a book deal and my dream turning into my reality.

(In fact, I’m off to Florence for a week by myself to work on my book!)

That’s just one example, Lovely.

You can use this with anything — moving to your dream location, starting your business, being featured in a magazine, landing a certain client, making a large amount of money in a month.

Now I know some of you are reading this and wondering how this works. (No, it’s not magic!)

Here’s why this works:

  • When you speak something out loud, even if it sounds like a white lie at first, you’re reprogramming your brain to believe it’s your reality. Your brain doesn’t know the difference in terms of whether it’s happened or not; it just hears the desire and starts to believe the possibility and then you take the action to make it happen. And remember, your thoughts, words and actions create your reality.
  • Saying your dreams out loud for everyone to hear means that not only are you moving forward with them and creating the belief and confidence, but you are subconsciously enlisting other people’s help! Think about it this way — you never know who’s connected to Oprah, that book editor, the dream client, the airline so you get an upgrade — so shout your dreams from the rooftop. People want to help you.

So I’d love to hear from you today, Lovely. The first step is to pick a big dream. What are you going to start speaking into reality? I’d love for you to hit reply and let me know…

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Lots of love,

Charlotte is napping the house smells like leftovers from a big breakfast, and I’m sitting there, completely caught up in this show called Black Doves. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s intense, emotional, and full of twists. I was hooked. By the end of the […]

Do you ever feel like you’re trapped in a version of yourself that isn’t quite you? Maybe it’s the version you’ve been conditioned to believe you should be—the one that keeps everything safe, predictable, and within the lines. During a conversation with one of my colleagues in my peer mastermind, she said in passing: “I […]
