I’ve spent the past two weeks in California, and I’ve loved every minute of it. In fact, I’ve loved it so much that I didn’t even want to go back to London last week! (Trust me, that’s saying a lot!)
Luckily, my husband James felt the same about this part of the US, and we’ve made the decision to spend a month there in early 2016. Woo hoo!
Want to know the amazing thing about all of this? Just last year, this idea would have sounded impossible to me.
As you know may know, last summer, James and I were both in 9-5 jobs and in massive credit card debt. We had the dream of living an international lifestyle, but in our minds, it was going to take a long time for that to actually happen.
Little did we know…
A few months after getting my first client last year, I left my 9-5 job and got to focus on I Heart My Life full-time. I worked with one on one clients from around the world and even created and launched my signature group program within the months that followed.
Six months into the business, I hit 6-figures in sales – one of those milestones I’d always dreamed of.
And a few months ago, James was able to resign from his 9-5 job to join me in the company, and we’ve been able to grow the business from $442 in sales to over $500k in a year giving us the financial freedom to keep our flat in London and travel and work in other parts of the world.
My point? I know there may be similar dreams you’re looking to reach so I want to support you in staying in that place of passion and believing this is possible for you too.
I used to think I was crazy for wanting to live internationally and have multiple houses around the world. But guess what?! Desires exist for a reason. If you have big dreams, they’re meant for you too!
The key to making those desires a reality is taking consistent action and remaining persistent despite the setbacks that may occur. (I once had a period of 54 no’s in a row!)
Keep your mission in the forefront of your mind and keep moving forward no matter what.
There are so many women who stop right before they’re about to make their dreams come true; don’t be one of them.
You’ve got this, lovely!
